Villa Calera is located in the main street of Rueda, the old "Roda" in Roman times, also the former Nacional VI road until the opening of the motorway A-6. The urban design of the town is a historic preservation town with plenty of houses embellished with stone coat of arms, almost all of them are adorned with decoration typically mudejar. The house takes its name from the name given to the inhabitants of Rueda: "caleros", because of the nearby areas where they extracted the "cal" (lime) which was treated later in the "caleras"
This is a centenarian house which has been totally restored respecting its original structure, keeping the taste of the old times and with all modern facilities. It is decorated in a very friendly rural style in which the visitor will feel at home.
